eagles, falcons and a castle.

Today I spent the day at Corfe Castle in Dorset. It is one of my favourite places to visit and is such an interesting place to explore! Today they had a falconry display on as a special event by the National Trust. It was incredible to see such amazing birds of prey close up. It was the first time that I had seen a golden eagle which was absolutely amazing! Here are a few photos from my day at Corfe Castle. To find out more about falconry and events on in your area follow these links:

a mini island adventure

Recently, I have been producing a university project on plankton! This may not sound like the most interesting thing in the world but I have loved it! In order to fetch some more plankton samples I took a day trip with my Mother and Sister to Brownsea Island for the day and here is a few snaps of our trip.

a day under the greenwood tree

Today I spent the day with my mother exploring Thomas Hardy's Cottage in Higher Brockhampton, Dorchester. Visiting Thomas Hardy's Cottage is something that I have always wanted to do and it really is absolutely beautiful and definatly worth a visit. The cottage is adorable and the gardens and orchard are beautiful! We also went for lunch where my parents went for their first date when they met 35 years ago which was so lovely! Here is a few pictures from our day in the country.
